European Part 4.Zone Wastewater Tunnel Construction (Celaliye- İstanbul)
Scope of Work: Wastewater TBM Tunnel with 10.628,00 m lenght Ø2000 mm external diameter, Sectioned branch Tunnel with 700m lenght Ø 1200/1800 mm, 17 main tunnel shafts with 9,00m external diameter, 2 branch tunnel shafts with 7,00m external diameter constructed.

Within the project scope, which constituted the important part of wastewater polition recovery project at
İstanbul Büyükçekmece and Silivri costs; project service was provided for wastewater tunnels between Güzelce-Kumburgaz at 4.128m and Selimpaşa-Silivri 6.500m length with Ø2000 mm external diameter constructed by Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM). According to wastewater basin at the region by making wastewater hydraulic calculations, wastewater tunnel basin plan, tunnel route plan and longitudinal section of tunnel were prepared.
By evaluating this prepared plan and geological data all along the route in accordance with longitudinal section, geotechnical engineering models related to the tunnel designing, was prepared. In the light of these data, engineering calculations were made for designing of the tunnel precast segment and precast segment lining projects were prepared. For branch tunnel projects that are related to the tunnel lining, were prepared as a result of engineering calculations which were made according to the conventional tunnel excavation and construction techniques.
On entire tunnel route; excavation, architectural and reinforced concrete projects of excavation retaining system composed of precast segment lining and wire mesh+shotcrete+I steel profile, and 17 main tunnel shafts, 2 branch tunnel shafts projects were prepared.
